1940          Born in Trabzon. Graduated from the Gazi Educational Institution in Ankara. Received his Diploma at the State Academiy of Fine Arts. Completed his Qualifying Examination Degree at Mimar Sinan University.

1968-75     became Teaching Member at the Atatürk Educational Faculty.

1970-71     Conducted research on printing in Germany.

1975          became Teaching Member at Mimar Sinan University, Fine Arts Faculty.

1985          received his Professorship.

1994-95     was Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and became Head of the Department of Graphic Design.

1996          Founding Dean of Yeditepe University, Fine Arts Faculty at Büyükada.

2004          Founder and Chairman of IMOGA-Istanbul Museum of Graphic Arts.
